    Permits
A permit is required if you plan to place your skip on a public highway. Lighting and correct signage will also be necessary if you have booked your skip for a period of time (up to 28 days). A permit will often be requested by the skip operative on your behalf, but in some cases a period of between 3-5 days is needed to obtain one from the local authority so please bear this in mind when calling to order your skip.
